The purpose of Sunset Circle is to promote friendship, support missions, and assist each other in improving our spiritual well-being through fellowship, devotions, study and prayer. We meet every third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. from September through May, usually at the church, and have one special dinner at a restaurant of our choice during the summer months. This year our Christmas party was held at the home of Carol Sauer.

Our meetings include devotions, study, fellowship and refreshments. The officers elected in September are Jan Marquis, Chairperson; Nancy Waters, Secretary; and Margaret Henke, Treasurer.

Currently we have a membership of 15.

We support all the missions and activities of the Presbyterian Women. Our contribution to the "Christmas on the Prairie" is the homemade candy booth. Sunset Circle purchased and planted flowers in one of the parking lot planters. Each March we organize a bake sale, which is held after a Sunday service. The proceeds go to a mission of our choice. We recently purchased two books for the church library. These are being circulated among the members and may be used for study at the 2007 Women's Retreat.

Our study material this year came from the Horizon magazine. Study leaders had the option of choosing other material. This has included book reviews and reports on mission trips taken by members of our congregation.

A warm welcome is extended to all women of the church who are interested in joining our friendly group.
