The Christian Education Ministry is currently made up of five individuals who are responsible for Sunday school for the children and adults, Confirmation, Bible Studies, Vacation Bible School, the church library and many other activities.

In March, the Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study program finished their task of reading through the Bible in a year. They have since taken some time off.

Our school year started a bit early as our Vacation Bible School "traveled" to five different states within the United States during the week of August 21st-25th. The children explored the states, different local customs, and how the Presbyterian Church USA is implementing missions to those areas. We averaged 16 travelers per day ranging in age from 4 years through 5th grade.

We continue to have a dedicated group attending Sunday School each Sunday morning. Our Pre- schoolers and Kindergartners are using PCUSA's Bible Quest curriculum while our elementary students continue in the Rotation format.

This fall the Confirmation program started the second year of its two year schedule. This year's 8th grade class will be the first class to complete the entire program when they are confirmed this coming Spring.

This Fall also saw the kick-off of the Adult Sunday school class. This is a class that chooses, reads and discusses books on Sunday Morning. All church members are welcome to join.

On December 24th the Sunday school students performed "The Birth of Jesus" for the congregation. Under the direction of Diane Landherr and with the assistance of Katie Blija, Heather DiStefano, Dan Landherr, and Jan Marquis, the kids did a wonderful job.

Throughout the year Janet Minshall and Jean VanAcker have volunteered to go through our library and weed out some of the older books to make room for new additions. I would like to thank them for the time and energy they have spent to improve our stacks.
