Meetings were held on a monthly basis, with a break in the summer months of July and August. Visits to the sick and nursing home parishioners were made by members of the committee throughout the year. Cards were sent to the ill and recovering members and friends of Rock Prairie.

The discussion of the change to Deacons was done at the October meeting and the current members of the committee will make themselves available for the transition of the work to the Deacons. They will be a resource to the Deacons and continue their personal ministries of assisting Rock Prairie members when needed.

A Stephen Ministries workshop was held on October 14th in Rockford, IL., and 4 of the new Deacons were able to attend. The entire elected Board of Deacons attended the Training Session for Deacons held at Rock Prairie Church.
